Fitcoin is a revolutionary fitness application that pays you in cryptocurrency on the Ethereum blockchain to burn calories.
Yes. All you need is an integratabtle fitness tracker or wearable device that links to our application and a Metamask wallet. Once you link your tracker and wallet to our application, you are ready to earn as you burn.
There is no upfront cost to join and participate. However, there will be costs associated with transactions within the application on the Ethereum blockchain. These costs must be paid with Ethereum and are not kept by Fitcoin.
ETH is a cryptocurrency that can be purchased from a cryptocurrency exchange (e.g. Coinbase).
Metamask wallet is a Web3 wallet that is accessible online, and it facilitates cryptocurrency transactions between the owner and end-users. A collection of private keys stored on a program connected to the internet is used to store and send different currencies such as Ethereum, etc. To create a Metamask wallet, go to: https://metamask.io/
At the end of each day, our application will convert your total calories burned into Fitcoin and deposit into your Treasure Chest.
For every 700 calories burned, you will earn 1 Fitcoin.
Every player has a daily calorie goal of 3,781 (maximum of 5,000). This equates to 5.40 (maximum of 7.14) Fitcoin available to earn daily.
Players have the option to activate a Multiplier function that increases their Fitcoin earnings by 2x, 3x or 5x within a 24 hour period. This will be an in-app purchase made with USD and is totally optional.
Your treasure chest is your daily rewards (Fitcoin earned) for calories burned that are stored off the blockchain but within the application. This can be converted into ERC-20 Fitcoin which can be exchanged for other ERC-20 cryptocurrencies at the player’s discretion.
ERC-20 is the implemented standard for fungible tokens created using the Ethereum blockchain.
Within the wallet tab of our application, you will find your total Fitcoin rewards available for minting. Once you select, “Mint,” your Metamask wallet will confirm the transaction on the blockchain and convert your Treasure Chest rewards into tokens.
Yes. There will be transaction fees based on the Ethereum network. This is an Ethereum network fee not associated with Fitcoin, Inc.
ERC-20 Fitcoin can be earned through the application and minted within your wallet or found Uniswap.
Uniswap is an automated Ethereum-based crypto exchange with its own governance token, UNI.
You can swap your Fitcoin for other cryptocurrencies or you can use your Fitcoin to participate in Fitcoin Fitness Challenges.
Our Fitcoin application offers Fitness Challenges that can be completed daily, weekly or monthly that rewards players with Fitcoin NFTs, also known as Thermites. To participate, you will need ERC-20 Fitcoin.
A non-fungible token is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a digital ledger. NFTs use blockchain technology to establish a verified and public proof of ownership.
Fitcoin NFTs are unique digital avatars that can be linked within the application that can boost your daily Fitcoin earnings through our unique gamification features.
Fitcoin NFTs will be offered through our Fitness Challenges only. Challenge winners have the option to sell their NFT on the secondary market.
